Ready. Get set. CLIMB!

Get ready to try hard and have fun! The Intro to Climbing Series is an introduction to the rock climbing discipline of bouldering.  With one hour sessions on four consecutive weeks, this is the perfect way to try a new activity.  Climbing is a great way to increase your core strength & body awareness, and this series is perfect for those with little to no experience.

Basecamp's introductory classes will teach students climbing safety, footwork, and tips & tricks to climb routes on various terrains with our experienced climbing instructors.  

 

Climbing shoe rentals are included in the cost of the series.  Just wear comfortable clothes, and bring a bottle of water

Week 1

Intro to Climbing Safety

Basecamp orientation and learning to manage risk in climbing.  Spend time learning to fall and being aware of other climbers.

Intro to Climbing Footwork

Using your feet is the best way to increase your climbing skills quickly.  Learn about your climbing shoes and how to use them.

Tips & Tricks

Lots of time to climb, our instructor will design exercises to teach you how to effectively move your body on the climbing wall.
